In Citrus County the climate is exceptional! The business climate as well as the quality of life available, is what makes our county one of the most desirable areas in Florida. Citrus County, commonly known as the “Nature Coast”, is located in west central Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, just an hour north of Tampa. Here are two companies that the EDC with its partners provided assistance in securing incentive funds to keep them expanding and adding jobs in Citrus County.

TCG has received a 2010 Governor's Business Diversification Award for exceptional contributions made toward statewide economic diversification in the Green-to-Gold category.

Sibex is a Veteran-Owned Small Business and continues to expand their facilities in Citrus County and adding more jobs. Their newest facility will be in the Crystal River Plaza across from the airport.
